Community engagement

East Alabama Worlds of Work, presented by Eastman, was held March 10–12, 2026, bringing together approximately 8,000 eighth- and eleventh-grade students from seven counties. Students explored career pathways aligned with regional workforce needs—ranging from engineering and technology to communications, business, and construction.

Supported by around 1,500 volunteers, the event provided students with meaningful, hands-on exposure to career opportunities in their own communities.
